Deep Fried Sotong 炸鱿鱼
Cooking Time: 10 Minutes
1 squid (cut into smaller parts)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon of custard powder
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
Black pepper salt
1. Marinate the squid with 1/2 teaspoon salt, white pepper, 1 tablespoon of custard powder, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Mix it well.
2. Prepare a plate of flour powder. Before frying, take the squid and roll it on the flour to coat the squid evenly with flour.
3. Deep fry in oil under medium or medium high heat for 1-2 minutes until it turns golden brown colour.
TIPS: Put the chopstick in the oil and if there is bubbles come out and no smoke above the oil, then the heat of oil is medium heat.
4. Garnish with coriander, top it with black pepper salt and serve it.
