Deep Fried Black Pomfret 炸黑鲳鱼

1 black pomfret fish (cleaned and marinated with salt)

Garlic oil (heated)

Ginger slices

Spring onion

Red chillies


1. Prepare a pot of oil at high heat. Deep fry the fish for 3-4 minutes per side until it turns golden brown colour.

TIPS: Push the fish to the edge and flip it over with a spatula. The other side of fish normally takes less time which is about 2-3 minutes time to fry.

2. Garnish with red chillies, spring onion and ginger slices. Pour over heated garlic oil on the fish. Serve it.
