INGREDIENTS
Onion (chopped)
Garlic
1 stalk of lemongrass
Ginger slices
2 tablespoons of chilli oil
Stock
2 tablespoons of tamarind paste (assam)
2 pieces of assam
Kembong fish
Okra
Prawns
Cilantro
STEPS
1. Pour some oil in a wok. Put in chopped onion, garlic, lemongrass, ginger slices, chilli oil and stir fry.
2. Put in the stock and 2 tablespoons of tamarind paste. Put in 2 pieces of assam.
3. Pour in some hot water. Cover with a lid and bring it to a boil.
4. Put in the fish and okra. Cover the lid.
TIPS: Put in the whole okra without cutting to make sure the assam not become slimy.
5. Add in the prawns.
6. Do seasoning with some salt, sugar, fish sauce and light soy sauce.
7. Cover with a lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
8. Garnish with cilantro and serve it.
